About the Program
Youth Center Inc. offers a flexible "Drop-In Program," designed to provide safe and engaging care for children aged 5-12. Our program offers parents and guardians a convenient solution for childcare, allowing them to bring their children in on an as-needed basis. We provide a nurturing environment that helps children explore, learn, and grow, ensuring their day is well-spent even outside of regular care routines.
Our Drop-In Program offers a variety of activities to stimulate children's minds and bodies. They can choose from arts and crafts, educational games, and reading time, encouraging them to explore their interests and discover new talents. For those needing academic support, our staff is available to provide homework help, guiding children through challenging topics and fostering effective study habits.
Outdoor playtime is also available, allowing children to enjoy fresh air and physical activities in a secure environment. They can participate in sports, playground games, or free play with their peers. A nutritious snack is provided to keep children energized and ready to continue exploring and learning throughout the day.
Our Drop-In program is designed for responsible children ages 10 and up. It is an unlicensed program where participants have the freedom to sign themselves in and out as needed. This flexibility allows children to leave on their own when appropriate.
Please note: On days when there is no school, half days, and on summer break, Drop-In starts at 12:30 PM.
