Full-Time | Split Shift
Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday
Will be scheduled between the hours of 7:30-5:30
Please Note: This is a full-time, split-shift position. Daily work hours are scheduled around the program's before and after school care hours and may vary slightly based on staffing needs, school schedules, early release days, and program activities.
The Site Coordinator serves as the lead staff member for our Before & After School Program, helping ensure the program operates safely, smoothly, and in compliance with EEC regulations. This position works collaboratively with program leadership to coordinate daily operations, support educators, build positive relationships with families, and create a fun, engaging environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Before & After School Program.
-Provide guidance and support to program staff while working alongside them in the classroom.
-Ensure compliance with EEC regulations, program policies, and safety procedures.
-Plan, support, and implement curriculum, enrichment activities, and daily schedules.
-Foster positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and community partners.
-Maintain accurate attendance, incident reports, and other required documentation.
-Communicate effectively with the Executive, Program & Assistant Director regarding program needs, concerns, and successes.
-Help create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Qualifications
-Experience working with school-age children required.
-Experience supporting children with challenging behaviors, IEPs, 504 Plans, behavior support plans, autism, ADHD, and other developmental or behavioral needs strongly preferred.
-Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
-Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and coworkers.
-Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
-Must meet Massachusetts EEC qualifications for a School Age Site Coordinator (or be eligible to become qualified).
