About the Role
The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating and delivering a comprehensive curriculum that fosters the development of toddlers aged 1-3. This position oversees classroom management, educational activities, and behavioral guidance to ensure a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment. The Lead Toddler Teacher is also tasked with supervising and mentoring assistant teachers, collaborating with families, and adhering to EEC standards.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in a similar role
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to lead and inspire a team
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and physical development
-Supervise classroom activities, ensuring a balanced and engaging environment
-Mentor and guide assistant teachers
-Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the holistic development of each child
-Ensure compliance with EEC standards and other relevant regulations
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
EEC Lead Teacher certification
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
