About the Role

The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering a curriculum for preschoolers aged 3-5. This position manages classroom activities, supervises teaching assistants, and ensures a nurturing environment that prepares children for kindergarten. The Lead Preschool Teacher also collaborates with families, mentors staff, and ensures compliance with EEC standards.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in a similar role
-Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that fosters cognitive, social, and physical development
-Supervise classroom activities, ensuring a balanced and engaging environment
-Mentor and guide assistant teachers
-Communicate with parents and caregivers to support each child's development
-Ensure compliance with EEC standards and other relevant regulations

Requirements

  • EEC Lead Teacher certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
